The Allanburg Heritage Oak Tree finds its roots in the mid 17th century and is an important fixture in Allanburg, a community within the City of Thorold.

This massive white oak’s history dates back over 365 years and is the first designated natural history site in Thorold.

Located off Highway 20 on the East side of the Welland Canal behind the Community Centre on Centre Street the tree is easily viewed and photographed.
